About Our Meals

Although we are not a restaurant, we love to cook!

Please let us know if you wish to reserve for dinner in the reservation notes when you are booking your room.

 

Our dining room seats 24, has a great view and offers delicious local fare.

  • A full breakfast is included with your room rental. Available from 7am until 10 am choices include:

    • Juice, coffee, tea, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, eggs any style, bacon, sausage, ham, hashbrown potato patty, toast (gluten free available), jam and marmalade. ​

  • Packed lunches are available for the following day upon request.

  • Full three course meals are also available daily (on a single entré basis) with Beyond Beef vegetarian protein option. 

  • Menus are fixed by day of the week as follows:

    • Monday - Meatloaf - 7pm $60 plus HST 9.00 = $69.00 per person

    • Starting with Garden Salad - Local greens, peppers, sweet vidalia onion, tomato, radish and cucumber dressed with our own vinagrete and topped with pepitas.

    • Mell's meatloaf is moist and flavourful comfort food served with mashed potatoes and tender baby peas.  

    • Dessert - Orange Chocolate Cake with French Vanilla ice cream. 

    • Tea or Coffee.

    • Tuesday - Lemon Chicken   - 7pm $60 plus HST 9.00 = $69.00 per person

    • Starting with a hearty soup of the day, served with croutons or crackers.

    • Chicken thighs roasted in a flavourful citrus sauce accompanied by tender baby potatoes and buttery steamed brocoli.

    • Dessert - Seasonal Fruit Crumble topped with optional Ice Cream.

    • Tea or Coffee.

    • Wednesday - Seared Salmon  - 7pm $60 plus HST 9.00 = $69.00 per person

    • Starting with Garden Salad - Local greens, peppers, sweet vidalia onion, tomato, radish and cucumber dressed with our own vinagrete and topped with pepitas.

    • A generous portion of Atlantic Salmon pan seared and finished in the oven served on a bed of green lentil stew.

    • Dessert - Crème Brûlée. 

    • Tea or Coffee

    • Thursday - Pork Tenderloin - 7pm $60 plus HST 9.00 = $69.00 per person

    • Starting with Garden Salad - Local greens, peppers, sweet vidalia onion, tomato, radish and cucumber dressed with our own vinagrete and topped with pepitas.

    • Pan seared medallions of tenderloin accompanied by a rich Boursin pasta and steamed vegetables.

    • Dessert - Cranberry and Rhubarb Galette with French Vanilla ice cream.

    • Tea or Coffee

    • Friday - Fish! - 7pm $60 plus HST 9.00 = $69.00 per person

    • Starting with Garden Salad - Local greens, peppers, sweet vidalia onion, tomato, radish and cucumber dressed with our own vinagrete and topped with pepitas.

    • Haddock fillet pan fried in a light gluten free coating served with a wedge of lemon, homemade Tartar sauce, boiled potatoes and green beans.

    • Dessert - Apple crumble with ice cream.

    • Tea or Coffee

    • Saturday - Seafood Pasta - 7pm $60 plus HST 9.00 = $69.00 per person

    • Starting with a crisp, cold Shrimp Gazpacho soup. 

    • Creamy lemon garlic sauce loaded with local lobster, clams, mussels and haddock combined with perfectly prepared pasta served with fresh baked bread and butter.

    • Dessert - Chocolate Cream Pot.

    • Tea or Coffee.

    • Sunday - Chef's Surprise! - 7pm $60 plus HST 9.00 = $69.00 per person

    • A three course meal that lets Mell cook one of her other many crowd pleasers.
